Okay, to start the experiment, you just need to get two empty glass, water, and a towel. It must be available on your home, isn’t it? Now you have to fill in the water into one glass until it reach the full area. After you finished, grab the towel and roll it a little bit. Put the towel inside the watered glass. Put the empty glass next to this watered glass and connect the towel (the one with dry tip) on there. Just watch and observe, it might need a patience. Slowly, you will see that the water start filling the empty glass trough the towel. It must be awesome, isn’t it? Well, you can try these science projects for 4th graders easily on your home. It just need an observation to get the result.



The capillary effect is also can be found on the plants. You also can do a simple trick by putting the white-flower inside the colored water. Slowly, you will see that the white flower color changes into the same colored water. It proves that the capillary effect is real.
